Becky is 17 and in love... with Peanut Butter my cat. This summer I hired Becky to work as my producer, videographer and video editor. Immediately, Peanut Butter assumed she was coming over just to massage him. He began following Becky around like a love sick puppy and thus began their summer love affair.
PB loves to kiss Becky on the nose, or lay at her feet or on her keyboard, anything to get his lover's attention. Who knew that Becky's first kiss would come from a Tom cat?

Becky is a teenagers now and doesn't have as much time for her auntie any more. But every time I look at this drawing, I hear the giggles and rewind those precious moments when we had our intimate sleepovers.
This precious portrait helps me relive the joy of teaching Becky how to blow bubbles, paint her toenails and curl her hair. Art can freeze your stories and keep them alive forever!

War is grueling but when this soldier met Mousetrap, a small piece of home crawled inside his heart. For a few moments each day, after brutal battles, this diminutive little critter banished his blues.
So when he left Afghanistan, he couldn't bare the thought of abandoning Mousetrap.
That's why I wrote a book on how to draw kitties to raise funds for Nowzad, an organization that reunites soldiers with pets they fell in love with in the war zone.
Mousetrap now lives a luxurious life with her soldier, here in the USA, thanks to JoAnn Ray, whose drawing helped raise those funds.
She's 25 now, a college grad, but grandpa can remember every word of the book he used to read to his granddaughter when she was small enough to crawl onto his lap.
Jan Jennings, a super Realist, records minute details... even the curled up toes that reveal the delight that bubbled all the way down to her toes when she sank into her grandpa's love.
